Andrew Emery Hale was raised in a broken home, his parents had fought quite frequently, once his father had left him and his mother. His mother had turned to drugs and alcohol, for her comfort, leaving Andy to fend for himself more often than not, and he found comfort in many things such as music and makeup as well as writing. One night his mother had gotten too physical with the boy, causing him to run off, eventually running into his now best friend and brother Christian Hale, née Andrews. Christian and his family had taken the boy in and treated him as if he was one of their own, a year later he had been legally adopted by the family.
